We Remember Chandra
Chandra Chinquiana Eason Uzzle was born in Washington, DC on August 7, 1984. However, she was reared in Sunbury, NC. She was a graduate of Gates County High School. After Graduating, Chandra found her niche in nursing. She was a CNA Nurse for over 10 years. Not only that, but she was also employed as a part time security officer at the Newport News Shipyard and was a comedian/hostess/owner of Queenish Cuutique. Whenever Chandra wasn’t working, she was enjoying her hobbies: doing hair, dancing and being an instructor of dance, cooking, making people laugh, and just enjoying her life. Chandra loved the Lord. It was evident when she accepted Christ and joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, where she loved to sing in the choir.
On August 17, 2019, the Lord saw fit to close the book of Chandra’s life. Though we don’t understand, and we have questions, we trust that God’s will is perfect. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Jerome Uzzle; daughter, Nevaeh Eason; grandparents, Reverend Charlie A. Eason and Jessie Powell Eason, Charlie Jordan and May Jordan; and sister, Lisa Jordan Thomas.
Chandra leaves to cherish her memories; two children, Prince Chance J. Uzzle and Chastity Paradise Uzzle; parents, Rosalind Denise Eason of Newport News, VA and Michael T. Jordan of Chesapeake, VA; three siblings, Keith Taylor of Salisbury, MD, Tisha Jones, and Dante’ Taylor of Chesapeake, VA; six uncles; one great uncle; two great aunts; special friends, Darlene Crawford and Felecia Hairston; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
