Donte’ Xavier Lee Snowden, 21, was gifted to us by God on October 16, 1997 and became Heaven’s reward on May 14, 2019.
Donte’ lived a happy life despite being unable to do for himself. He had one of the biggest grins and was always smiling. Donte’ commanded and demanded that anyone that passed him by had to stop and speak to him. Once they did, he would give them a great big smile. Donte’ lived seven years at the Lake Taylor’s Transitional Care Hospital. While staying there, he became a joy to the nurses, and they loved him to life. They would always say that Donte’ made their day. Donte’s best friend was Pebble. She took care of him from birth until he left for the facility. Pebble and Donte’ adored each other and became very close. Everyone said they were like two peas in a pod.
Donte’ was predeceased by his grandparents, Leven and Ruth Snowden; great aunts, Birtie Lee Snowden and Mary Snowden.
He leaves us to cherish his memory, his parents, Karen Snowden and Floyd Coston; siblings, Michael Snowden, Gregory Snowden, Dasani Snowden; grandmother, Josephine Snowden; great aunt, Estelle Wilson (Preston); great uncle, Vernon Snowden (Doris); niece, Serenity Snowden; nephew, Mason Moore, and a host of other relatives and friends.
