Herman Rudolph Daily, 84, of Mt. Calm, TX, entered into eternal rest on April 26, 2019. He was born November 20, 1934 to the late Will and Lena Mae Daily. Herman loved baseball and was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a great cook and often found joy in catering for grieving families. Herman enlisted in the US Navy and retired after 20 years. He later became a Food Service Manager for MWR and coach of the Women’s Navy Softball team. Herman’s coaching lead the team to win several championships throughout the years. He also loved the lord and was a member of the Garden of Prayer #3 church in Norfolk, VA.
Herman was predeceased by his wife, Desa Lena Daily; daughter, Jacqueline Walker; sons, Timothy Daily and Terry Daily.
He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Cheryl L. Whitty, Annette Jackson (Franklin); son, Herman R. Daily Jr. (Pamela); grandchildren, Kevin Daily, Chauntel Cook, Damien Mae Daily, Dajan Mae Daily, Terrie Daily, David Daily, Michael Key, Austin Holmes Daily, Marlee Holmes Daily, Mya Daily; sister, Jaunita Johnson of Mt. Calm, TX; brothers, Melvin Daily; Zino Daily both of Mt. Calm, TX and a host of in laws, nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
