John Joseph Litz Jr., 48, passed away December 22, 2018. He was born August 17, 1970 in Danville, VA. John was an Electronic Technician at Virginia Beach City Public Schools. He was bassist for both SICMAN of Virginia, Brown Napkins, and other local bands over the years. In his leisure, John enjoyed music, painting, culinary arts, and hiking in the Shenandoah Valley.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Litz; son, Joseph Matthew Litz; his parents, Peggy and John J. Litz, Sr.; his brother, Christopher Litz (Alana); four children by marriage, Tony, Michael, Christopher, and Nastassia; five grandchildren, Ephraim, Desmond, Ileana, Ivan, and Atlee; and a host of other relatives and friends.
