Leford Davis, aka as Maffy, Lee, Chi-Chi, 48 of Virginia Beach passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He was born January 13,1970 to Cavil Edwards Crooks and the late Thaddeus Davis.
Leford completed his education in Jamaica. He worked at various Hotels and Construction Sites in Jamaica and then migrated to the U.S.A where he continued to work for various Hotel chains in Florida, Texas and Virginia Beach. Leford then gained employment as a temp worker at the City of Virginia Beach and then became full time employee in various department until his death. He also worked various outside jobs to include the original Mattress Factory, Dish Network and an ABC store. Leford was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. He was the definition of a people person, who loved laughing and joking with everyone. He had a great sense of humor that would brighten your day. He was a hard worker and lived his life to be peaceful with everyone.
Left to cherish his legacy, his wife, the love of his life, partner and best friend, Marva Griffiths Davis; daughter, Aby-Gayle; son, Danielio; step daughters, Collette & Camelia; mother, Cavil Edwards Crooks; sister, Clova Crooks; and a host of uncles, aunties, cousins, other relatives, friends and Church families.
