Lottie M. Williams

Lottie Mae Williams, 81, of Chesapeake, VA entered into eternal rest on April 27, 2019.  She was born January 6, 1938 in North Carolina to the late Archie and Irene Hill.  Lottie graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Norfolk, VA, in May of 1956. She participated in plays and enjoyed dancing while attending school.

On December 26, 1957 she married Joseph B. Williams and to that union five children were born. Lottie was a Certified Nurse at the Veterans Hospital in Hampton, VA for many years.  She later changed careers and worked as a packer for the US Navy.  She enjoyed shopping and tending to her flower garden.

Besides her parents Lottie was predeceased by her sister, Sarah Hill.

Lottie leaves to cherish her memory, her ex-husband, Joseph B. Williams; daughters, Sharman Irby, Deborah Williams; sons, Eric Williams (Connie), Stan Williams (Sherri), Derek Williams (Shafron); grandchildren Tony Irby, Demond Irby, Shaquita Irby-France, Eric Williams II, Simone Williams, Jasmine Williams, Christina Williams, Christian Williams, Joshua Williams, Arielle Williams, Matthew Williams, Isaiah Williams, Da’Nita Williams, Martez Haynes, Solomon Williams, Safar Williams, Shelicia Williams; great-grandchildren, Kevin Edwards, Tony Irby Jr, Jazmyn Irby, Keveon Irby, Bree Fornella, Nicole Fornella, Jayla Irby, Geniya France, Thaddeus Richardson, Demond Irby Jr., DeNayah Irby, Sasha Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
