Melvin Stevenson, Jr.

Melvin Stevenson, Jr., 58, passed away December 17, 2018. He was born June 6, 1960 to the late Shirley and Melvin Stevenson, Sr. in Virginia Beach, VA. He was predeceased by a son, Nekeith Gorum and his grandparents, Richard and Christine Holloway and Jake and Betsy Stevenson.

Melvin received his early education in the Virginia Beach Public School system.  He served in the US Army from 1979-1981 and received an honorable discharge.  In his leisure, he enjoyed hunting, riding a unicycle, wrestling and he loved to laugh.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Sylvia Knox and Annette Stevenson; three brothers, Fred Stevenson, Michael Stevenson and Julius Harris; and a host of other relatives and friends.
