PFC Oscar Marion Frederick

Pfc Oscar M. Frederick, 74, born February 5, 1944 in Lowesville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on January 16, 2019. He was educated in the South Carolina school system and graduated from Branchville High School. Pfc Frederick enlisted in the US Army for two years and served 11years in the US Army National Guard. He was a member of American Legion, American Trucking Associations, and as a child, he was a member of Central United Methodist Church.  His loved art, fishing, hunting, weightlifting, rebuilding old classic cars, and was a mentor to many young men.

Oscar was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Annie Lee Frederick; five siblings, Joseph Frederick, Leroy Frederick, Perry Frederick, Herbert Frederick and Eartha Lee Frederick Tate.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his lovely wife of 53years, Rose Lee Frederick; three children, Darryl Oscar Frederick (Cheryl), Kimberly Yvette Griffin (Warren), Michael Antwane Frederick; three siblings, Margret C. Heggs, Rose L. Stokes (William), Jerome B. Frederick; sister-in-laws, Connelle Frederick, Addie Brown Frederick; five grandsons, Christopher, Joseph, Darryl Jr., Michael Jr., Kobe J; two great-grands, Caysee Monroe, Joseph Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
