Regenald Wiggins Obituary

Regenald “Reggie” Wiggins was born in 1968 in Bethel, North Carolina to Willie and Annie Wiggins and made his transition to his eternal home on May 7, 2019 at the age of 50.  He attended public schools in Virginia Beach.   In 1994, he married Elizabeth Wiggins in Virginia Beach.

Reggie was a skilled plaster and worked with Taylor Plastering and Universal Plastering for close to 30 years.  In addition, he was an excellent cook that made full meals in the early morning hours.  He loved to spend time with family and friends playing his music.  Reggie had a powerful and soulful voice; enjoyed the Blues and Soul music.  Nicknamed “Reggie Love” or “Chocolate Factory” because he spread love to all he came in contact with.  His spirit was contagious; he enjoyed making people laugh or smile.  Reggie fought his medical issue for 10 years with hope, faith, and a will to live for his children.

Reggie is preceded in death by his father, Willie Clarence Wiggins (2014), younger brother, Willie Montrell Wiggins (1996), and grandparents: John and Ruth Roberson of North Carolina and Lester Bridges of Portsmouth, VA.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Wiggins; four sons: Regenald Mosley (26),  Montrel Wiggins (21), Devon Wiggins (20), and Zamari Harris (15); 3 daughters: Yvonna Wiggins (19), Trezure Wilson (12), and Zoey Wiggins (12); three siblings: Gregory Wiggins, Reshedia Wiggins, and Abrian Wiggins;  mother, Annie R. Wiggins; grandmother, Queen Bridges; longtime friend, Heath Taylor; eleven nieces and nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins .

There are not enough words to describe the hurt and grief we are experiencing due to his loss.  He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
