Richard Lecator Sr.

Richard Lecator Sr., 79, entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2019.  He was born on December 12, 1939 in Nassawadox, VA to the late Martha Church and James Lecator. He attended North Hampton County High School, and served in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1963.

Richard retired from the New York City Transit Authority after 26 years of service. He was known as the life of the party and loved dancing, partying and the NY Yankees. 

Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his sister-in-laws, Cynthia Church and Margie Church.

Richard leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Shirley Lecator; children, Richard Lecator Jr. (Cynthia), Anthony Lecator (Priscilla), Reginald Lecator, Angela Earle (Stanley); 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Crowe (Keith); brothers, Wesley Church, Randolph Church; and an abundance of family and friends.
