Anna Godwin Obituary

Anna R. Godwin, 85, transitioned on September 16, 2020. She was born on January 10, 1935 to the late Benjamin and Gertrude Glover in Asheville, North Carolina. Anna was a graduate of Stephens Lee High School and attended Spelman College. She was a Supply Clerk for over 20 years and was a member of Nazarene Church of God.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George Benjamin Godwin Jr.; and brother, Titus Glover.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Sharen Richardson (Lester), Brian Godwin (JaQueline), Angela Godwin, Terre Roberts (Rodney); seven grandchildren; sister in laws, Esther Britt and Laverne Glover.
