Anna T Jones Woodhouse (aka Boom Boom) went home to the Lord on March 14, 2026. Anna Boom Boom Woodhouse was born on Oct. 12th 1949, to the late Melissa Rogers Jones and Kenneth Wallace in Princess Anne County, Va. Beach, Va.

Nephews: Lorenzo, Lamont, Chavious and Wyvonne and preceded in death by Clifton Powell

and a Host of friends and family who she referred to as "My Peoples".

Anna attended Union Kempsville, for a short time and went on to work various jobs, while raising her girls at a very young age. She was very passionate about one of her jobs at the Navy Lodge in Norfolk, where she was a Supervisor. She later pursued Private Duty Help for many.  Anna was a beautiful soul, inside and out. Always extending a helping hand to anyone. No one was a stranger to her.

SHE LOVED THE LORD and showed this to everyone she met. She loved life and was a force to be reckoned with and loved to party and have fun.  She was a member @ New Hope Baptist and Mount Olive Baptist and sang in the choir at both. She was also a member of Upper Room.

She also had a passion for softball and being with her teammates.  Anna lived her life the way she wanted. She was a bright light in any room she entered. She was VERY outspoken and blunt!! She usually had a kind word for anyone she encountered, but if you rubbed her the wrong way, she had words for this too!!

Her famous words were: Boom Boom, Ooww Ooww, Weee Weee, Sugar Bump, My Peoples and Pee Thang!!  Anna was hilarious with a big, kind and giving heart!! The ones in the community where she used to live in Atlantis Apt, knew if anyone was in need of an uplifting word, food, clothes, a place to lay their heads or a few dollars, they knew they could go to Boom and get the family treatment.
