Antoinette Juanita Henderson of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026.Born Antoinette Juanita Walker on September 21, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a devoted mother and a cherished friend to many. Antoinette spent her career as a Nurse. She was passionate about caring for the sick and the elderly. She is survived by her children, Erwin Henderson Jr, Kianca Henderson, and Jeremiah Henderrson, Sister Kim Barnett, Brother In-Law Reggie Barnett, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and lots of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband Erwin Henderson Sr. She loved cooking, gardening, reading ,taking care of her family and a good laugh over coffee with her friends. She always sacrificed her needs for the good of the family. She will be remembered as a selfless, altruistic wife and mother, who braved through the tough times with a smile and her faith in Jesus Christ as King. She had a quiet strength, the strongest woman I know. Her character and temperament can best be shown from the time she was diagnosed with COPD until her passing into heaven. Antoinette had every right to cry and be mad, or even fall into depression after her diagnosis, but instead loved and lived every moment she was given, neither hard times nor illness would rob her of who she was. Always graceful, until God called her home. A service will be held at Union Baptist Church Feb 7th at 4:00 PM
Philippians 4:4-7
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
