Blair Eugene Sawyer

Blair Eugene Sawyer, 64, accepted his call to eternal rest on April 2, 2018.   He was born June 18, 1953 to the late Frances Ann Tyler and William Henry Sawyer in Virginia Beach, VA.  He was predeceased by a son, Trevon Taylor.

Blair was a graduate of Kellam High School, Virginia Beach where he was the Basketball Captain.   He retired as a Maintenance Supervisor with the Virginia Beach Public School system after 36 years of service.

In his leisure time, Blair enjoyed playing city league softball, golfing and loved to travel.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 23 years, Jacqueline Marie Sawyer; eight children, Tonya Carter, Blair Day (Christina), India Sawyer, Justin Sawyer, Jordan Sawyer, Latoria Worlds, Ashley Price and Jamar Worlds; 21 grandchildren; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
