On Monday, December 28, 2020, our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Brenda was born on December 26, 1949 in the Huntersville section of Norfolk, VA to the late Mary E. Daniels and Bishop Wilbert L. Daniels, Sr. Brenda loved the Lord, and was a faithful member of St. Paul Church of God in Christ under the leadership of her father, Bishop Wilbert L. Daniels, Sr.
She was educated in the Norfolk public school system and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. Soon after graduation, she began her career as a housekeeper, with her last place of employment being with Atlantic Shores Retirement Community working in the laundry department.
Brenda was predeceased by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Daniels; sister, Michelle Walke; brother, Michael Daniels; stepmother, Lillian B. Daniels.
Brenda leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Earl D. Gaskins (Elaine), Nicole Cartwright; grandchildren, Elisha Gaskins, Eliyah Gaskins, A’niya Johnson, Amir Johnson; father, Bishop Wilbert L. Daniels Sr.; siblings, Wilbert L. Daniels Jr. (Melvonia), Paulette Turner, Annette Bonner, Darlene Johnson, Shelton Daniels, Stephen Daniels, Stephanie Daniels; brother-in-law, James Walke; sister-in-law, Cortrelius Daniels; uncle, Anthony Daniels (Angela); aunts, Shirley Daniels, Elaine Daniels and a host of other relatives and friends.
