Catherine Georgia Roberts Smith

Catherine Georgia Roberts Smith, 83, of Princess Anne County, now Virginia Beach, was called home by the Lord on November 29, 2022. She attended Princess Anne County Training School, later known as Union Kempsville, Sally Beauty Cosmetology School, and Norfolk State University along with graduating from a local nursing assistant school. Catherine worked and retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant from Lynn Shores Manor Nursing Home.

Catherine spent most of her life living in Virginia Beach. She enjoyed traveling, decorating, reading books, and spending social time with her friends and family. Catherine loved the Lord and spent lots of time reading and listening to scripture. She spent her last days being well loved and cared for by her family.

Catherine is predeceased by her husband, George C. Smith, Sr.; parents, Columbus Roberts, Sr. and Ida Gatlin Roberts; brothers and sisters, Herbert Roberts, Ella McAllister-Simmons, Barbara Miller Jones, John Roberts, Cornelius Roberts, Columbus Roberts, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, George Smith, Jr. (Rosalva); grandchildren, Reyna Smith, Isaac Smith; one great grandchild, Miguel Smith; siblings, Joshua Roberts (Gracie) of Boston Massachusetts, Eddie Roberts (Dinah), Mary Roberts Smith, Ida Roberts Armstead all of Virginia Beach and a host of very special friends and family members.
