Darlene Evans Joe Boothe, age 65, passed away on December 14, 2025. She was born May 27, 1960 to the late Lucy Pearl Evans & Joe Lewis Evans in Princess Anne County, now known as Virginia Beach, Virginia, a place she proudly called home throughout her life.
Darlene dedicated 18 years of service as a manager at Soap n Suds, where she was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and warm presence. She took pride in her work and the relationships she built along the way.
Above all else, Darlene was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into caring for those she loved.
Darlene had a deep appreciation for beauty and personal expression. She took great pride in her collection of china dolls, home décor, and jewelry. She had a special love for her Mustang, a fondness for the color purple, and a lifelong admiration for butterflies, which reflected her gentle and vibrant spirit.
Darlene was predeceased by her mother Lucy Pearl Evans; sister, Peggy Jones and grandmother Lilly Mae Joe.
Darlene leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Clint Boothe; children, Shanequa Joe, Tamonia Joe, Marcus Joe; grandchildren, Dequan Joe, Niare Patton, Trinity Patton, Nevah Patton, Makyia Joe, Malaysa Joe; sister, Josephine Daniels; and other close family and friends.
