Dominique Alexander Lennon, 28, of Spartanburg, SC, unexpectedly received his angel wings on Friday, May 22, 2020.
He was born on June 14, 1991 in Chesapeake, VA to Jacqueline M. Christmas-Lennon and Grady A. Lennon. Dominique was educated in the Virginia Beach public school system and graduated from Bayside High School in 2009. After graduation, he attended Virginia State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2013. Dominique was very active in sports. He played football for Bayside High school and ran track at Virginia State University. Dominique was employed at Contec, Inc. in Spartanburg, SC.
Dominique believed in the community and helping others. He was a member of CEB “Community of Effective Brothers”, which is a group that believes in effecting the community in positive ways. One of his best characteristics was his compassion for people. He could always be found participating in walks for different diseases. Some of the walks included the Cancer walk and the MS walk in support of his dear mother. Dominique also volunteered for different organizations throughout the community.
