Don C. Brown

Elder Don C. Brown, known to his family as “Mike”, was called home to be with God on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.

Don was a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia and was born to the late Jonah and Mabel Brown. He  received his primary education from the Princess Anne County school system.

Don was  a dedicated spouse to his wife, Barbara of 53 years. Through their union they had five children. Elder Brown  retired from Virginia Beach Public Utilities Department after 30 years of service.

He  was preceded in death by his parents, Jonah and Mable Brown; four brothers, Elder Johnnie Brown ,Sr., Joseph Brown, William Earl Brown, Deacon James Brown, Sr.; four sisters, Missionary Annie Mae Johnson, Missionary Shirley Custis, Addie Williams and Barbara Holloway.

Don leaves to cherish precious memories, his wife, Barbara Brown; one son, Eric Brown, Virginia Beach ,VA; four daughters, Lendora Saunders, Virginia Beach, Donnial Durrant (Renard), Virginia Beach, Nedra Brown (Arizona), Sylvia Moss (Cedric), Virginia Beach; and a host of other relatives and friends.
