Edna Lindsay Harris

July 30,1957 - July 31, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Edna Lindsay Harris, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend on July 31, 2026.

She was born on July 30, 1957, as one of 10 children to the late Wash and Edna Ellerbee Lindsay in Laurinburg, NC.  After graduating high school, Edna would leave home to serve her country by enlisting in the U. S. Navy and later start a family of her own here in Virginia.

Edna was a passionate, warm-hearted soul who cared deeply about her friends and family. She  would drop everything in order to be there for her loved ones. No matter the occasion, she would always make a way and also give a barrage of hugs, kisses, and photos to capture the moment.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her four brothers Wash Jr., Charles, Mike, James and one sister Debra.

Edna is survived by her husband, Clarence Jr.; 3 sons Clarence III, Phillip, Stephen; 4 grandchildren Jaylen, Jackson, Justin, Ava; four siblings, Ina, Jean, Jackie, Jerry; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
