Eileen L. Lyons

Eileen Lavaughan Lyons, 69, entered into eternal rest on May 29, 2025.

Eileen was born on September 28, 1955 to General and Sylvia Baskerville in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Eileen enlisted in the US Navy and served 24 years. She retired as a PNCS Personnel Man Senior Chief Officer, E-8. After she retired from the military, she furthered her education and received an Associate in Paralegal Studies from Tidewater Community College, Va. Beach, VA.

In her spare time, you could find Eileen enjoying time with friends and family. She enjoyed going on cruises and traveling.

She was predeceased by her parents, General Bakersville, Jr., Sylvia Jackson Baskerville; grandparents, John “Tom” and Vera Jackson, Marie Davis-Wilson and General Baskerville, Sr.

Eileen leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Krystal Lyons; grandchildren, Eileen A. Lyons, Derek J. Lyons; siblings, Janice Ward, Marvin Baskerville; close friends, Barbara Dashiell, Angie Mays, Vanessa Smith; godson, Tavin Dashiell; her Queen City family; Ben Morrell Group; and a host of other relatives and friends.
