Ernie Ataiza Mijares

Ernie Ataiza Mijares, 80, peacefully entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2019.

Ernie was born on February 16, 1939 in Cavite City, Philippines to the late Fabian and Petrona Ataiza.  She graduated from NRJC High school in Olongapo City, Philippines. Ernie attended Doulos for Christ church for almost 20yrs and sometimes she would visit St. Pius X Parish Catholic Church. Ernie enjoyed cooking, dancing and traveling. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grands.

Besides her parents, Ernie was predeceased by four sisters, Narie Aranzanso, Corazon Tan, Cleoty, Rosing; two brothers, Ricardo & Rolando Ataiza.

Ernie leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 60yrs, Rodolfo Mijares; seven children, Ramiro (Mercy) Mijares, Edgardo Mijares, Melinda Mijares Enriquez, Anita Poblete (Alex), Samuel (Maita) Mijares, Imelda Mijares, Joel (Grace) Mijares; thirteen grandchildren, Alexander, Alexis & Kevin Poblete, Limuel, Sheila & Lance Poblete, Melissa, Robert & Ralph Enriquez, Ramir, Arianne, Sarah, & Gerald Mijares; four great grandchildren, Heaven, Angel & Faith Anderson; Elija Mijares; Noel, Mina, Gina & Jerry Ataiza; nephews, Paul Acero (Elaine); Marc Acero; sister-in-laws, Soledad Bowman, Norma Aero (Tino) and a host of other relatives and friends.
