Ethel Mae Thomas

Mother Ethel Mae Johnson Thomas peacefully transitioned from this earthly life to her eternal reward on December 26, 2024. She was born on August 4, 1950, in Princess Anne County, Virginia—now present-day Virginia Beach—to the late Pastor Joseph D. Johnson, Sr., and Mother Ida Mae Perry Johnson.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Mary, Joseph Jr., Patrick Turner and Vernon Turner. She leaves to cherish her memory two beloved daughters, Tejuana and Jamila; two cherished grandsons, Philip and Isaiah; eight siblings, George, Rosa, Joan, Melvin, Larry, Cheryl, Littonia, and Richard; her spouse, William III, and his children, William IV, Naeem, Lamiya; God-children, Yolanda and Andre; as well as a host of extended family and dear friends.
