General Grant Williams, Jr., 74, entered into eternal rest on May 19, 2020.

General was born on November 4, 1945 in Petersburg, VA to the late General Sr. & Edna Williams. He was educated in the Petersburg public school system. General enlisted in the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. He loved watching football, basketball and spending time with his family and close friends.

General was predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Maxine Williams; parents, General Grant Williams Sr. and Edna Mae Haynes Williams; grandson, Antonio Sullivan and two nephews, John T. Jones, Jeffery J. King.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Ellen Hollie (Michael); grandchildren, Chun’tia Hollie, Jeremiah Hollie; Stephanie Hollie; great granddaughter, Skylar M. Sullivan; sister-in-law, Ethel M. Jones; devoted niece, Lorraine J. King; nephews, Roy J. Jones, William Jones Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
