Gerald Eugene Furbush, 78, entered into eternal rest on June 5, 2021.
Gerald was born on September 28, 1943, in Adrian, Michigan to the late Hal & Betty Jane Furbush. He attended East Coast Polytechnic University and obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Computer and Information Science. Gerald worked for the United States Postal Service and retired after 20 years as an Equipment Technician, and he also served in the U.S. Navy and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal with 4 Bronze Stars, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and the Navy Achievement Medal. Gerald was a member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church. He loved technology, reading science fiction, was a movie buff and foodie.
Besides his parents, Gerald was predeceased by his brother, Richard Furbush. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Marissa Furbush; children, Dorothy Camacho, Sheila Wakida, Gerald Richard Furbush; grandchildren, Hipolito Jr., Jonathan & Desirea Camacho, Spencer & Mallory Wakida; sister, Joyce Mitchell, and a host of other relatives and friends.
