Gregory L. Brown

Gregory L. Brown, 64, entered into eternal rest on August 31, 2025.

Gregory was born on March 20, 1961, in Chesapeake, VA to the late Raymond L. and Constance Brown. He was educated in the Chesapeake public school system and graduated from Indian River High School. In 1979, Gregory joined the US Army as an Infantryman for three years and was honorably discharged. He loved fishing, reading, cars and collecting cigarette lighters. Gregory’s greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Besides his parents, Gregory was predeceased by his wife, Linda Brown; one son, Gregory A. Brown and six siblings.

Gregory leaves to cherish his fond memories, his children, Charles Mitchell, Terrance Brown, Breanna Brown; grandchildren, Jayden Mitchell, Antonio Lemons, Nyla Brown, Elijah Holloway; five siblings, Sarita Brown, Devona Brown, Linda Williams, Alfreda “Annette” Brown; a host of nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
