Heather Lynn Albany (née Lewis) passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 47. Her life was full of love, laughter, and struggles, and she will be remembered in many different ways by those who knew her.
Heather was married to Thomas Edward Albany for 27 years and was the mother of Ashley Lynn Hooper. She was also the proud grandmother of Albany Mae Hooper, whose name carries a piece of the family she came from. She is survived by her daughter, granddaughter, and two sisters.
Heather had a laugh that could fill a room. She was a talented cook who loved to share good food, and she found joy in spoiling her loved ones with gifts. Her journey wasn’t always easy, but her life mattered, and she left an imprint on the hearts of those who knew her.
She is at peace now, and her family will carry her memory forward with love. A private remembrance will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to organizations supporting addiction recovery and mental health awareness, in the hope that others may find the help and healing they need.
