Henrietta E. Watford

Mrs. Henrietta Elizabeth Watford 89, peacefully departed this life at home surrounded by her children on Sunday July 7, 2024. She was born in New Bern, North Carolina the oldest child of  seven children born to the late Robert and Helen Henry. She graduated from West Street High School. She was married  and predeceased to the Late Franklin D. Watford. 

She is  survived by her loving and devoted children; Joyce Winn and husband Tony, Jeffery Watford and wife Patrice, Reginald Watford, Regina Robinson and husband Elijah, Denise Harvey and husband Wilbur, and Derek Watford and wife Sarita.; 10 grandchildren Ryan and Lauren Winn, Sherice and DeNita Fair, Elijah Robinson, III, Logan, Ameia Harvey  and Kamerin Harvey Dean and husband Vince, Tai and Nina Watford.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, 1057 Kennedy St, Norfolk, VA 23513.

 A Family  “Wake” Service will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 at St. James Missionary Church, 5724 Old Providence Road Virginia Beach, VA 23464.
Interment will be held  following the funeral service at Rosewood Memorial Park  601 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23462.
