Late Thursday night December 4, 2025 Jacqueline Dildy was called home by GOD Almighty surrounded by her Family!

Jacqueline Dildy, known as "Jackie" or "Jack", was born in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Russell T. and Mary L. Dildy. Jacqueline was raised in Virginia Beach, VA where she resided for the remaining of her life. She graduated from Bayside High School in June of 1977. 

Jacqueline worked and retired from the Virginia Beach public school system with 37 years of service. In her early years she worked at the Golden Sand Hotel and Gus's Snack Bar in Virginia Beach on the oceanfront. She also worked for her father at the snack shop on the Lynnhaven fishing Pier. 

Jacqueline left behind to cherish her memory two children, Austin and Portia Dildy; eleven grandchildren, Zeonta, Zyasia, Icysis, Michael, Kayla, Layla, Amauris, Austin Jr., Josiah, Janiya, Lailini; three great-grandchildren, Zeonta Jr., Mali, Page; five sisters, Audrey Hughes, Dorothy Gilchrist, Inez Jackson, Annette Harris  (Richard), Joyce Dildy (Jackie's Twin); four brothers, Ricky Dildy (Octavia), Lorenzo Dildy, Lester Dildy, Bryant Dildy. She also had two cousins, Vicky and Elvis White and a nephew, Nathan Dildy (Janice)  that was raised in the same house hold.

She was predeceased by her parents and oldest brother, Walter R. Dildy.

We loved and appreciated Jackie.  We are thankful for her being there for us to share in our joys and in our sorrows, She showed her love and devotion to us. Jackie gave us the example to live a good life and to treat all people the same. She considered it a joy to spend time with her family, who cherished her. We are grateful that God loaned Jackie to us for these many years. Fond memories of her will be cherished by us all forever.
