Janette Miller Obituary

Janette O. Miller peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 27, 2026. She was born November 5, 1953, in Princess Anne County, VA, to the late Delma White and John Robinson.
Janette was educated in the Virginia Beach school system and later earned her credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LN). Dedicated to caring for others, she was employed with Norfolk Health Care for 30 years and concluded her 42-year career at Jones and Cabacay Veterans Care Center.
A devoted member of Morning Star Baptist Church, Janette deeply loved her pastor and church family, proudly serving on the Pastor's Aid ministry. She was a kind, loving, and widely respected pillar in her community, her church, and her home.
Janette expressed her love through unwavering presence and a heart of gold. She was a dedicated mother, a wonderful grandmother, a loving sister, and a special aunt. She cherished family time, especially hosting cookouts, organizing Mother's Day celebrations in the park, and catering local events alongside Lena.
Janette was predeceased by her parents; her beloved daughter, Nicole; and her siblings, Earl, Jerome, James, and Stanley White.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Andre Miller and Jonathan Miller (Katie); her grandchildren, Aniyah, Torion, Jaylen, Gianna, Gabrielle, Jonathan, and Estrella; three brothers, Linwood White, Sr., George White (Selena), and John Curtis Robinson (Martha); five sisters, Shirley Hibbler, Lillian Knight (Garfield), Alma Russell, Sandra Collins, and Lena Rudolph; three sister-in-laws, Julia White, Diane Ferguson and Patricia Vaughan; four godchildren, Brandon Patrick, Brandy Patrick, Demetrius Rudolph, and Crystal Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
While Janette's earthly journey has led her to eternal joy and peace, her legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering faith will forever remain in our hearts
