Jason Leigh Reynolds

Jason L. Reynolds, known affectionately as Jason to his friends and family, passed away of natural causes on March 7, 2024, in his hometown of Virginia Beach, where he was also born on November 27, 1970. His departure from this world was peaceful.  Jason was the beloved son of Patricia Dileonardo and the late David Reynolds. His life was a tapestry of close-knit family relationships, including the joys of fatherhood to his cherished children, Dychelle Wells and Demarcus Wells.

His legacy continues to live on through them and his five adoring grandchildren. Jason's family circle extended to his Aunt Cathy Broussard, Uncle Lonnie Broussard of Virginia Beach and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will all remember him fondly.  A true Virginia native, Jason's love for the Washington Redskins (Commanders) football team was well-known and unwavering.  His enthusiasm for his interests was infectious, and he was always ready to engage in lively discussions or cheer on his favorite team with friends and family.  As we say goodbye to Jason, we celebrate a life lived with enthusiasm.

He was a man who embraced life's simple pleasures and loved his children and  grandchildren deeply.   In keeping with Jason's love for his hometown, he will be laid to rest in Virginia Beach. The memories of his passionate spirit, friendly smile, and the interesting conversations he sparked will be treasured by his family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to cross paths with him.   A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday April 20, 2024 2PM at Sonrise Christian Church 600 Independence Blvd, Virginia Beach. In honor of his passion for NFL Football, wear your favorite team jersey.
