Jerry J. Spellman

Jerry J. Spellman, 84, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away March 24, 2020. Jerry was born July 30, 1935 to the late Jimmy Sills and Rosa Spellman in Princess Anne County.

Jerry was a hard worker, and at a young age he became a working class citizen. He had many jobs but some included being a Machine Operator, as well as a cook for the Merchant Seaman. Later on in life, he worked as a Longshoreman for 28 years with local 1248.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of over 65 years, Marie Spellman; four children, Reynaldo Spellman (Stephanie), Ronnie Spellman (Betty), Anthonette Spellman, and Jeryl Butts (Jimmy); eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one sibling, Tommy Sills; and a host of relatives and friends.
