Jimmie Lee Wallace

Jimmie L. Wallace, 70, entered into eternal rest on December 17, 2024. He was born in Edwards, Mississippi to the late Louise V. Myricks and Eddie Lee Davis Sr. on April 18, 1954.

Jimmie was educated and graduated from the Mississippi public school system. He moved around from Mississippi to Chicago, Illinois and eventually traveled to Virginia. Jimmie worked as a carrier for the United States Postal Service. He loved drawing, taking nature walks and telling old childhood stories from back in the day.

Besides his parents, Jimmie was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Tacker, Lorean Myricks; two brothers, Eddie Lee Davis, Jr., Benart Myricks; and one nephew, Iren Bernard Jamison.

Jimmie leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Richard Burton; grandchildren, Richard Burton, Jr., Lamont Burton, Jayden Burton, Chardon Myricks; siblings, Aaron Davis, Terrell Davis, Gloria Irizarry; nieces and nephews, Corey Myricks, Lorenso Hardy, Kiesha Myricks, Frontaine Myricks, Willmeta Hardy, Cortez Myricks; aunts, Mamie Marshall, Rosie D. Barber; and a host of other relatives and friends.
