Kamla S. Munjwani

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mom and grandmother (Nani), Kamla Munjwani, who left us peacefully on October 28, 2024 at the age of 82. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones up until her passing. Born in Karachi, Pakistan and raised in Mumbai, India, Nani was the heart of our family and a guiding light to all who knew her.

Nani’s life was one of warmth, resilience, and joy. She poured her heart into her family, instilling in them the values of kindness, perseverance, and faith. She taught us to embrace life’s challenges with strength, to value education, and to find beauty in the small things—whether it be a quiet evening spent together listening to our favorite songs or preparing a beloved recipe she had perfected over decades.

Those who knew Nani remember her for her compassion, strength, amazing cooking skills, and her radiant smile, which lit up every room she entered. She was a strong pillar in our lives, and we miss and will continue to miss her greatly.

She leaves behind her daughter, Nishka, and two granddaughters, Malvika and Juhi.
