Obituary for Kenith Archie
December 3, 1953 – November 12, 2024
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenith Archie, who left this world peacefully at the age of 70. Born on December 3, 1953, Kenith was a dedicated friend, and a man of many talents whose life spanned diverse careers and experiences.
Kenith's journey began in the United States Air Force, where he served with honor and distinction as a Security Police Specialist beginning on July 1, 1975. His military service was marked by a deep sense of duty, integrity, and a commitment to protecting and serving his country. After receiving an honorable discharge, Kenith transitioned into civilian life, yet his passion for service and growth never wavered.
In the years that followed, Kenith became a versatile professional, applying his skills in the engineering field as a draftsman and CAD operator. His meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving abilities made him an invaluable asset in his role as an engineering specialist, where he spent many years contributing to the growth and development of various projects.
Later in life, Kenith took a compassionate turn, pursuing a career as a dialysis technician, where he provided care and support to patients in need, helping to improve their quality of life. In addition to his work as a technician, Kenith also became a certified massage therapist, owning and operating his own business. Through this work, he touched the lives of many, bringing relief and comfort to those who sought his expertise and care.
Throughout his varied career, Kenith was known for his strong work ethic, his kindness, and his willingness to lend a helping hand to those around him. His ability to adapt and thrive in so many different fields was a testament to his intelligence, creativity, and determination.
Kenith is survived by his family and a wide circle of friends. They remember him not only for his professional achievements but also for his warm spirit, sense of humor, and deep love for those he held dear. He was preceded by his father Glenwood Archie Sr. and mother Virginia Archie. He leaves behind a daughter Joy Watts, several siblings: Leon Archie, Larry Archie, Fleance Archie, Glenwood Archie, Pearlene Greer, Helen Archie, Ellen Archie, Alton Moebarker, and a special friend Connie Thompson and a legacy of compassion, resilience, and unwavering service to others.
A memorial of Kenith’s life will be held at a future date, with details to be announced.
Kenith Archie will be deeply missed, but his impact on the lives of those who knew him will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
