Kenneth Conway Obituary
On January 4, 2020 while at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Kenny was called to be with his Father in Heaven to a place where no tears nor sorrow could affect him, only laughter and smiles while he rests.
Kenneth Wayne Conway was born on January 27, 1951 to the late John L. Conway and Sadie Mae Bowe Conway. He grew up and attended school in the Norfolk and Chesapeake area. Due to his health concerns, Kenny would spend most of his life away from family and friends. Later on in his life, he came back to Norfolk where he was able to thrive, enjoy the rest of his life and listen to his favorite artist, James Brown.
Kenny leaves to mourn, his brother, Vernell Conway of Norfolk, VA; five first cousins, Carolyn White of Philadelphia, PA, Debera Long of Woodbridge, VA, Stanley White of Philadelphia, PA, Darryl Bowe (Lori) of Norfolk, VA, Travolta Bowe (Danielle) of Charlotte, NC; his extended family who all nurtured and cared for Kenny upon his return to Norfolk, The Hartwick House, Family Extensions, Majette and Cromwell, Independent Hands; special friend, Althea Doffnan and a host of other relatives and friends.
