Keysha Shante Simmons

Keysha Shante' Simmons, 40, passed away April 24, 2018. She was born Oct. 2, 1977 in Chesapeake. She was predeceased by her mother, Agnes Simmons and a brother, Donnell Worsley.

She graduated from high school in New Haven, CT. She worked as a Nurse Aide for Hand 'n Heart Home Care and Direct Caregiver for over 10 years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed traveling, shopping and taking care of others.

She is survived by one daughter, Tyjanae Simmons; adopted son, Christopher Pittman; fiancé, Lamont "Smoke" Green; her father, Tony Simmons; stepfather, Donald Brooks; four siblings, Katrina Howard, Felicia Howard, Kayla Nixon and Tony Simmons, Jr.; loving aunts, Hattie Bethea with whom she had a special relationship and Constance Howard; nieces and nephews, Zakia Howard, Aleisha Howard, Randy Howard, Deiondre Howard, Paris Howard, Keshara McIntyre and Tiffany Skinner; great nieces, Zariyah Edmond, Zoey Howard, Skylar Howard and Leah Serrano; and a host of other relatives and friends.
