Larry R. Williams, Sr.

Larry Roger Williams, Sr., 70, passed away at home surrounded by family on September 16, 2023. Larry was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia to the late Florence Woods and William Foreman on November 3, 1952.

He retired from Alsco after working as a laundry attendant for over 30 + years. Larry loved the Lord and was a long-term member of Mason Memorial Church of God In Christ until his health declined.  When he wasn’t working, he could often be found spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed playing dominoes and watching football & basketball. Larry was married to his children’s mother, Delores Williams, for years and although they divorced, they remained friends.

Larry was predeceased by his mother, Florence Woods and father, William Foreman.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Yolanda Williams, Erika Williams, Larry R. Williams, Jr. (Lekeisha Williams), Garry Williams (Tamara Williams), Shanna Williams; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Michael Williams, Harry Williams, Jeanette Burke (McKinley Burke); special cousin Carlton William; and a host of other relatives and friends.
