“From the land of pain and sorrow; to a land of peace and rest; God has taken you, our loved one, where you shall have eternal rest.”
The hour glass with its sand of time, has slowly, but surely, spilled its contents and with the passing of the last grain when the life of our Father, Grandfather, and loved one. Levond Ferebee on Thursday February 11, 2021 @11:24am in Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, God dispatched an angel to his bedside, as we watched our loved one slip peacefully away to his eternal rest. Levond whom was called Ferebee by some but to us he was Dad, PopPop, and uncle Levond.
Levond was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He was educated in the Virginia Beach school system and graduated from First Colonial High School in 1974. He was employed by the city of Virginia Beach Landscape division for 30 plus years. He accepted Christ and joined Rhema Harvest Intl Ministries. His favorite past time was fishing and rabbit hunting with his son and buddies.
He was born to the late Clyde Ferebee and Shirley Davis Ferebee. He was preceded in death by his siblings Shirley Ferebee and Estelle F. Hoggard. He leaves to cherish his precious and fondest memories Pastor Rose Hill, Son; Levond “Deion” Ferebee, Daughters; Lady Latarsha Dreuitt, and Lady St. Claressa; six grandchildren; Steven Mason, Latavais Mason, Romyia Tarry, Tatiana Ferguson, Mekhi Ferguson, and Messiah Ferebee. Five brothers Jacky Davis, Keith Ferebee, Clyde Ferebee, David Ferebee, and Jerry Allen. A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Our Father loved his children and family but his heart was with his grandchildren. He would light up when Messiah (Simba) would enter the room. We are eternally grateful for having a father and friend such as Levond Ferebee.
