Lillie Virginia Felton

Lillie “Nancy” Banks Felton, known to all as Nancy, was born on November 29, 1948 to the late Lillie Mae Ashburn and Vernon Bremby.

Nancy was educated in the public schools of Virginia Beach. Attending Union Kempsville. Nancy was a resident of Virginia Beach, in the Princess Anne area for forty years. 

Nancy raised seven beautiful children as well as some of her grandchildren.  She was a homemaker, who loved to cook and care for her family.  Nancy would open her door to the friends of her children and family to ensure they felt cared for as well.  She could be strict and direct; but had a heart of gold. Always there with a shoulder to lean on or a listening ear if you wanted to vent and would offer the best advice for those in need.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband, John “Buck” Felton.  She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Benita Banks, Levi Banks, Robert “RB” Banks, Larry Banks (Nicole), Theresa Carpenter (Milton), Lee “BJ” Felton, Jonathan Felton; two Step-sons: John Alan Felton and Thomas Jeffrey Felton; seventeen grandchildren: Emmanual Banks, Jerrell Banks, LaKwana Banks, Levi “JR” Banks, Josef Banks, Michael Banks, Nicholas Banks, Myko Banks, JeWhan Banks, Jasmine Banks, Jourden Banks, Joshua Banks, Breonnah Felton, JaLonni Jackson, Lanaiyah Felton, Talaya Felton, Conlee Banks; nine great-grandchildren: Aniyah James, Avonte Banks, Ta’Jeh Robinson, Asia Banks, Milo Claybrone, Maison Banks, Marley Cooper-Banks, Andre Davis, Sakura Banks; six Siblings: Floyd Banks (Diane), Henry Banks (Darlene), Delores Boyd, Nina Mae Banks, Alvin Ashburn, and William Ashburn; and a host of other relatives and friends.
