Llewellyn Overstreet, 69, transitioned from this life on February 26, 2021. He was born in New York City on December 4, 1951 to the late Rufus and Clavon Overstreet. He was educated in the New York City public school system and graduated from James Madison High School. Llewellyn proudly worked as an electrician in New York City for over 40 years. He was a serious bowler that took pleasure in competing in tournaments, he competed in sanction games and was awarded two rings and will always be officially recognized as a 300 bowler. In his adolescent years, Llewellyn participated in the boxing PAL Program in New York City and loved painting portraits of people and pictures of animals.
Besides his parents, Llewellyn was predeceased by one son, Akida Overstreet; sister, Cynthia Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memories his adoring wife, Shelia Overstreet; two children, Tristan Foye, Janneane Overstreet-Rollins (Samuel); niece, Tyeisha Watson (Cornell); and a host of grandchildren, great nieces, family and friends.
