On January 2, 2025, Loretta transitioned to be with the Lord and reunite with her loved ones in Heaven.
Loretta was born on July 11, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Henry Broderick Sr. and Bernice Venning Hanson. She was educated in the New York public school system and graduated from Prospect Heights High School.
Loretta had a passion for pouring into young minds which lead to her continuing her education. She achieved a B.A. in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Africana studies from Brooklyn College. She also completed the Barbizon School of Modeling.
Loretta was employed at Verizon Telecommunications as a Data Analyst with 35 years of service. She also was a member of CWA Union District #1. Besides her family, she loved fashion, sewing, poetry, music and nature.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Henry W. Broderick, Jr., and Fred R. Broderick.
Loretta leaves to cherish her fond memories, her daughter, Tiffani N. Broderick; grandchild, Skyler Broderick “Nims; life partner, Ronald DeBerry; inherited son, Ronald DeBerry, Jr.; siblings, Albert Fiol (Vernetha), Isaac Broderick, Theresa Thrower; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
