Louise Virginia Myricks, better known as “LV” or “Evelyn”, was born on June 18, 1933, in Edwards, Mississippi to the late George and Demenia Wallace. She departed this earthly life on September 15, 2023.
Louise accepted Christ at an early age when she joined Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She loved singing, playing bingo, the slot machines and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Louise was predeceased by her husband, Louis Myricks, Jr.; one daughter, Lorean Myricks; one grandson, Iren Bernard Jamison; five brothers, Robert E. Wallace, Willie E. Wallace, George Wallace, Jr., Bennie Wallace, Melvin Walllace and two sisters, Bertha Mae Regan, Carrie Wallace.
Louise leaves to cherish her fond memories, two sons, Jimmie Lee Wallace, Bernard Myricks; seven grandchildren, Corey Myricks, Lorenzo Hardy, Chardon Myricks, Richard Burton, Frontaine Myricks, Cortez Myricks, Willmeta Hardy; 27 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mamie Marshall, Rosie D. Barber and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
