Mr. Luther Carter Spain Jr., "Jimmy" 74, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. Luther was born on December 2, 1945 to the late Luther Carter Spain Sr. and Florence Spain . He was educated in the Virginia Beach Public School system and graduated from Union Kempsville High School. Luther was known for being a hard worker and was a driver at Albano Cleaners for many years. He also loved the Lord and was a member along with his wife, Ethel Spain, at First Lynnhaven Baptist Church, located in Virginia Beach.
He is predeceased by his parents, Luther & Florence Spain; and son, Luther Carter Spain III.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife, Ethel Spain; children, Gregory Sledge, Kimberly Spain (Andre), Lucy Salazar (Jimmie); and a host of other relatives and friends that he loved dearly.
