Mable L. Bond

Mable L. Bond, 94, went home to God’s heavenly garden on April 16, 2021, just one day shy of her beloved birthday. Mable was born on April 17, 1926 in North Carolina to Lillie Bullock.

Mable worked in the laundry industry for many years. She was employed with Albano Cleaners and her career took her out of state to places like, Detroit, Delaware and Baltimore. Mable was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Williamston, NC. She loved fishing and cooking, but most of all she loved her family.

Mable was predeceased by her spouse, James Montgomery; mother, Lillie Bullock and one grandson, James Haynes.

Mable leaves to cherish her fond memories, her children, James Lewis Montgomery; Katie Lee Williams; grandchildren, Brenda Williams, Angie Williams, Veronica Williams, Cynthia Hayes, Lewis Parker, Latricia Wilson, Darnell Freeman; seven great grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
