Marjorie Hickey went to sleep peacefully with her family by her side on November 9, 2024. She was born November 19, 1924 in Princess Anne County. Marjorie played the piano for 50 years for the Moose Lodge. She was a purple heart mother and a VFW member. She was loved by all that knew her and she adored her animals, especially Miss Kitty her cat.
Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Leon Hickey, Sr.; sons, Marvin B. Smith, Jr., Billy R. Spence, Roger D. Hickey; daughter, Pat A. Ward; brother, Chester Spence; sisters, Margaret Harris, Deloris (Blueyes) Waterfield.
Marjorie leaves to continue her legacy her children, Page & Jenny Smith, Bonney S. Shipp, Conney S. Gillett & Dennis, Leon A. Hickey, Jr. & Becky; one sister, Amanda Calabreeze & Sam; many grandchildren; and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 3pm, Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Beach Funeral Services. www.beachfuneralservices.com
