Martha Luz Escalante-Sambolin

Martha Luz Escalante-Sambolin, 68, passed away surrounded by family Monday, February 3, 2020. She was born September 11, 1951 to Pedro and Josefina Escalante in Sonaguera Colon, Honduras.

Martha was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was an excellent crafter, and enjoyed sewing dresses, and making jewelry.

Martha was raised in the church and because of her religious background she enjoyed reading the bible and having a deep connection with the Lord. Furthermore, she had a voice from heaven and with that gift she enjoyed singing randomly to her children and those she loved dearly.

Martha is survived by her husband, Miguel A. Sambolin; four children, Hena M. Escalante, Miguel Sambolin Jr., Valeria Sambolin, and Milagros Sambolin Incognoli; grandchildren, Tyara L. Sambolin, Adriel Rodriguez, Aaron Sambolin, Briana Sambolin, Jennifer Escalante, and Iliani; siblings, Manuel Escalante, Pedro Escalante, Uvaldo Escalante, Marco Escalante, Margarita Escalante, Aldelfa Escalante-Benites, Bernanda Escalante and a host of other relatives and friends.
