Mary Alice Williams

Mrs. Mary Alice Williams was on born May 11, 1923 in Norfolk VA to Mr. Henry Williams and Mary Ward-William. She was the second eldest of eight children. Known throughout the community as “Alice”, this outgoing and energetic lady was a humble, giving and loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grand mother, aunt and friend. She lived in Princess Anne County also known as Virginia Beach, VA here entire life. She was married to the late Willie McCoy for over 70 (seventy) years as they raised and cared for 14 (fourteen) children. She touched the lives of many with her warm heart. The kindness and generosity that our beloved mother SHOWERED people with will never be matched. She was a caring, woman, who will be GREATLY missed.

Mary Alice Williams departed the world on December 18, 2018, and leaves behind cherished memories with the following individuals: one sister Catherine Williams resides  who resides in Brooklyn, NY; four sons, Willie M. Williams, Augustus Williams, Willie A. Williams, and Junious Williams. four daughters: Rachael McCoy, Carolyn Williams, Barbara Williams, and Evelyn Williams, and one (1) niece, Viola Penny. She also leaves behind forty-five (45) grandchildren, sixty-five (65) great grand children, twelve (12) great-great grand children, and a nephews, niece and a host of cousins, relatives and others.
