Michael Corner Obituary

Michael Blake Corner, 63, entered into eternal rest on July 23, 2020. He was born on August 5, 1956 in Norfolk, VA to the late Clyde and Dorothy Corner.

Michael was educated in the Norfolk public school system and graduated from Granby High School. After graduation, he attended Norfolk State University studying in the field of Sociology. Michael worked ten years as a maintenance worker at General Foam Plastics Inc. and later a line worker for a manufacturing company.

Michael loved sports, and his favorite teams were the LA Lakers basketball team and the Pittsburg Steelers football team. He loved fixing things and listening to R&B and Jazz.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Clyde Corner and Dorothy Boone Corner.

Michael leaves to cherish his memories, his sisters, Sandra Givens-Grandison, Sheila Givens; uncle, Walter West and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
