Today, we announce the loss of a special soul. Moe was a being of light that shined everywhere she went. She came into the world ready to put her stamp on life. Moe was often a bright spot for people. Whether it was being someone to vent to or giving intuitive advice, she was there. She had a spirit that truly impacted anyone she connected to.
Moeniesha was lovingly cared for by her grandmothers, Gloria Sills and Mazie Wilson. She is also preceded in death by her aunt Maxine, who passed just days before her.
Moe is survived by her devoted mother, Dr. Janice Nembhard-McLean; loving brothers, Richard Jay’sSon McLean, Richard George McLean Jr.; cherished uncle, Mark and his wife, aunt, Karen Nembhard; uncles, Nduvo Salam, Ryan Wilson; aunt Lisa Walsh; her father, Richard G. McLean Sr.; her extended family of cousins, including Amari Carter, Via Love, Alvin Parker, and Markeah Nembhard, also hold her memory close to their hearts. There are also many others she created deep bonds with that will forever feel her impact.
Though she came early and left us too soon, the love, joy, and lessons she imparted on us will last a lifetime. She may no longer be with us in body, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. We take comfort in the knowledge that Moeniesha is now at peace, wrapped in the loving arms of those who went before her. She will forever be remembered and deeply missed.
"You may be gone from our sight, but you are never gone from our hearts."
